“And at that moment I was thinking, oh my goodness, I made it out of there, and I’m still alive! No matter how badly I’ve been hurt, I’m not going to pass away. I’m here!” Michael claims that the terrifying event has not dissuaded him from fishing and that he would continue to pursue his passion for surfing the waves and fishing despite the ongoing danger.

“Fishing was my life for many years. I haven’t been able to go fishing in two weeks, and I’m about to go crazy! Unbelievably, this is not the first time that Michael has evaded death. He is also the only survivor of an aircraft crash in which three of the other passengers were tragically slain.
